Hai, teman-teman!
Dalam rangka mempererat hubungan persahabatan antara masyarakat Jepang dan masyarakat negara-negara ASEAN dan Timor-Leste, JENESYS akan menyelenggarakan pertukaran mahasiswa secara online selama 6 hari, dan ditujukan khususnya untuk mahasiswa S1 atau S2. berikut info » Beasiswa Monbukagakusho Program Research Students keberangkatan 2022
Program pertukaran ini juga bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan teman-teman mengenai Jepang di berbagai bidang, seperti ekonomi, masyarakat, sejarah, budaya, politik, dan hubungan diplomasi. Pada kesempatan kali ini, program ini akan mengangkat tema Japanese Food Culture (Budaya Kuliner Jepang).
Program Pertukaran JENESYS akan diselenggarakan pada 25-30 Januari 2022.

Program OverviewJENESYS is a people-to-people exchange program between Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.
Program Objectives

To encourage an understanding of Japan’s economics, society, history, diverse culture, politics and diplomatic relations (especially of the program theme: Japanes Food Culture).

To promote mutual trust and understanding among the peoples of Japan and the Asia-Pacific region and building a basis for future friendship and cooperation.

Outline of the Program

a) A total of 6 online exchange programs will be held over the duration of the above mentioned program period. Participants that attend all programs shall receive a completion certificate.

b) There will be online exchange activities held for participants such as with Facebook groups, both before and after the 6 programs.

c) We will also be asking each group (approx. 5~12 persons per group) to cooperate with managing group social media account and making posts during the program period.

d) Participants will be supposed to watch some On-demand videos during or before the program to deepen their understanding on Japan.

e) On the last day of the program, each group (1) prepare a presentation, and (2) make an action plan to present their findings

e) Apart from the contents above, we may ask participants on an individual level to submit questionnaires and reports, as well as preparation to participate in the 6 programs.

Standard time for each day *some program will be started at 15:00/15:30/16:30 (Japan Time)

15:00-18:00(GMT+8)8):Brunei, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore

14:00-17:00(GMT+7):Cambodia, Indonesia(Jakarta),Laos, Thailand, Vietnam

13:30-16:30(GMT+6.5):Myanmar</p>

Program Schedule and Contents *tentative

(Day1) January 25(Tue) :Orientation and Lecture on Japan

(Day2) January 26 (Wed) : Virtual Tour and lecture on tradition of Japanese food in shopping district of Asakusa area.

(Day3) January 27 (Thu) : Initiatives of local government, Sendai City.

(Day4) January 28(Fri): Home Visit (Exchange with Japanese Host Family)

(Day5) January 29 (Sat): Workshop (share findings and prepare action plan among participants)

(Day10) January30 (Sun) : Final presentation session

Qualifications for Participants

・Undergraduate students or Graduate students.

・Those who hold AMS or Timor-Leste nationality or are permanent residents of AMS or Timor-Leste and reside in AMS or Timor-Leste.

・Those who have participated in following programs are ineligible.

✓JENESYS 10 days online program

✓KIZUNA

✓SSEAYP (Ship for South East Asian and Japanese Youth Program)

✓JICA (Except the program hold in AMS countries and Timor-Leste)

✓Japanese Government (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT)) Scholarship Program

✓Invitation Program of JF (Japan Foundation), JNTO (Japan National Tourism Organization) or AOTS*(HIDA**).

**The Overseas Human Resources and Industry Development Association (the previous name of AOTS)

・Applicants who have been to Japan are, in principle, not eligible.

・Applicants who have studied in Japan for a long term are not eligible.

・Those who have Sufficient skills of English / The Applicant must have adequate English conversation skills.

・Those who are 18 - 35 years old as of the program date (high school students: 15 - 18, supervisors: 40 or below).

・Those who are willing to improve the relations between Japan and target countries, deepen mutual understanding, and actively share their experiences or discoveries from this online program through social media such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.

・Those who have a Facebook account. (JICE will request all participants to join our Facebook Group)

・Those who are able to attend all 6days online programs.

・Those who can cooperate with group members, and create/submit their final findings (e.g. Questionnaires, Final presentation, Action Plan)

・The applicant must have a sufficient internet condition to have an access to the online pre-exchange program at home.

Mandatory Assignments for all Participants

1. Share Experiences through Social Media

Participants are required to share their experiences and discoveries in Japan and promote Japan as an attractive destination for travel, study or work by posting on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, You Tube or other social media during and after the program, especially within three months of the program.

2. Make Action Plans and Report Implementation

Participants are required to make action plans on how to share their experiences and report their implementation to JICE. Participants will wrap up their findings and will present action plans in the reporting session. Within three months of the program, they will be requested to send an After Action Report on their implementation of the action plans. Posted photos, published articles or reports on disseminating activities will be welcome.

3. Complete Questionnaires

Participants are required to complete a questionnaire at the end of the program. They will be required three months thereafter to complete an online questionnaire, which will be sent to their email address.
