CROWD CONTROL / SECURITY GUARD
This course offers nationally recognised training to individuals wanting to upgrade their qualifications to further develop their proficiency in providing operational security services including protecting persons, giving evidence in court, preparing and presenting security documentation and reports and supporting leadership in the workplace. This program must be completed within 12 months of licensing as a crowd controller.
This course is designed to train you will provide you with a higher level of qualification required to conduct an operational role in the security industry
Certificate III in Security Operations PRS30103 (Crowd Control) is a natural progression from the Certificate II in Security Operations PRS20103.
It is now a licensing requirement that all crowd controllers complete this course prior to their licence renewal.
dELIVERY MODE
The course is presented via a combination of structured tutorials, workshops, case studies, video, practical assignments and workplace application. Individual and group work activities and assessment activities are conducted throughout the course

COURSE DURATION
Fulltime training: Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm (1 week)
Part time evening training: Monday to Thursday, 6.00pm to 10.00pm (3-4 weeks)
Weekend training: Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 5pm (5 weeks)
TRAINERS AND ASSESSORS
All trainers and assessors are recognised industry professionals, holding relevant experience and training qualifications. They include security industry specialists, former and current serving police officers.
pre-requisites
Applicants for Certificate III must have completed PRS20103 Certificate II in Security Operations proiorto commencing this course.
